Equipment Performance
Certification |
To ensure accurate and reliable performance of your instrument, your service
engineer will inspect and test your equipment to ensure that it meets
factory specifications and that it will likely work properly until the
next service interval.
For qualifying
instruments , a Certificate of Performance will be issued documenting
the actual NIST traceable standard test results showing compliance
with manufacturers specifications, internal reference values, stability
of critical instrument parameters and gas system integrity. |
This document not
only provides important information about the performance of your instrument,
but it can also be helpful in satisfying compliance requirements with
outside regulatory agencies, customers and in-house QA programs. |

Standard test results
and calibration records (In your Analysis Log Book),
Maintenance and service records (Your Maintenance Log Book)
and a thorough analysis of your equipments’ performance (
Performance Certificate), when well documented, provide a clear picture
of your lab’s readiness to qualify as your prospects prime suppliers
of analysis services. |

Logging- Do you log suffient data to satisfy an audit of test

Reliability Centered Maintenance

QA Procedure
Review |
Do your operating
procedures provide proper and easy to follow instructions for accurate
results and proper exception handling? A review of this document may provide
just the difference between technician compliance and avoidance. If the
proper procedures are not described clearly in this document, both the
auditors and your technicians will not have a standardized procedure to
follow; this is especially important when things don’t go as expected. |
